List Of Upcoming Banking Exams 2016 to 2017

Banks play a very important role in the finance and economy of a country. Both Government and Private sector bank provides great opportunities to work and build a career.  A career in banking is deemed to be a very promising and growth oriented so with each passing year the number of banking exams aspirants is increasing rapidly. One of the banks examinations conducting agency in India is the IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). In 2011, IBPS announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of officers and clerks in Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 29 public sector and regional rural banks. IBPS sporadically accepts exam applications from candidates at their website, and the exams are organized at various locations in the country in online mode. 

The following examinations are conducted through IBPS: 

1) IBPS-CWE Specialist-V: There are various positions under IBPS Specialist officers, some of them are I. T. Officers (Scale I), Agricultural Field Officers (Scale I), Law Officers (Scale I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I), HR / Personnel Officers (Scale I), and Marketing Officers (Scale I). Registration for the posts starts in November, while the exam is conducted in subsequent January and final result is declared in April. The exam is of 200 marks consisting of 200 questions and it has 50 questions of professional knowledge 75 marks.

2) IBPS-CWE Clerk-VI: The exam is conducted in the month of December. Common Written Exam is taken for all Clerical Cadre Posts. The preliminary exam is taken in the month of November and consists of 100 questions of 100 marks and is of 1 hour duration. It has three segments: Numerical Ability, English and Reasoning. After a candidate qualifies the Preliminary exam, the Main exam is taken in month of December. It is of 2 Hours. It consists of 200 questions and 5 different sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Each section consists of 40 marks. 

3) IBPS-CWE PO/MT-VI: The Probationary Examination Selection Procedure is organized in 3 phases, Phase 1 preliminary Objective Test, Phase 2 mains Objective Test and Phase 3 interview. Preliminary exam conducts in October. It also consists of three sections i.e. Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude both of 35 marks each and English of 30 marks. It is of 1 hour duration. Mains exam conducts in October month or next month in November and contains 5 sections. The length of exam is of 2 hours. Reasoning and Numerical Ability consist of 50 questions and 50 marks each. English and General Awareness consist of 40 questions of 40 marks each and computer awareness of 20 questions of 20 marks. So, it is of total 200 marks. The interview conducts in January.
